What you provide
You make the legal decisions, review the wording and personally sign your required statements. Existing records are reviewed for reuse before additional preparation is quoted.
Preparation price and the discounted agreement option
Base preparation: current price. Optional preparation of your already-agreed marital settlement agreement is +current price, making the service subtotal current price. The standalone MSA service is current price total for both clients; it is not added on top of the current price package option for the same work.
Choosing Ven Document Services LLC preparation, self-preparation or another preparer for financial disclosures does not by itself change the approved package price. The accepted scope must reflect your choice; it does not remove disclosure obligations.
Previously covered forms
Work included in your accepted package or an earlier purchase is reviewed before any separate standalone-form quote. A newly listed standalone service does not create a second charge for the same covered work.
Common questions
Do you file every document you prepare?
No. Financial-disclosure papers exchanged between spouses are different from proof of exchange filed with the court. You review and sign the documents. Only court-bound documents within a separately accepted submission are submitted by Ven Document Services LLC; otherwise you handle filing. California Courts explains the distinction.
Is court filing included in the preparation fee?
No. Base preparation covers the accepted documents. Optional submission, if specifically accepted, adds current price. Actual applicable court and filing-provider charges are separate and collected in advance for an accepted submission. Self-filers handle their filing and outside fees directly.
Is my divorce finished when I complete the intake?
No. The intake provides information for preparation. The court must review the final papers and issue its judgment; the judgment identifies the ending date. See the court’s finalization overview.

An intake is a request for review, not a signed agreement or permission to charge. Court and other outside-provider fees are separate from Ven Document Services LLC preparation fees.
